Goodbye Summer, Hello Fall 🍁

This Monday marked the autumnal equinox—the celestial moment when the sun crosses the equator, signaling the official start of astronomical autumn in the Northern Hemisphere. On this day, Earth’s axis (tilted at about 23.5 degrees) stands in perfect balance, neither leaning toward nor away from the sun. Thanks to this tilt, we get to enjoy the rhythm of the seasons and nearly equal hours of daylight and darkness across the globe. A little cosmic trivia to kick off your fall—fascinating, slightly frivolous, and totally worth knowing.
