This interstellar concert experience will awaken the Force within you and transport you to a galaxy far, far away. Free!

Wednesday, April 16, 4:15 pm-5:30 pm, George R. Brown Convention Center, Room 322A.

Join in the excitement of the FIRST Robotics World Championship and meet newly admitted MIT students from the Class of 2029 from around the world. The MIT Admissions office is hosting an all-MIT get together for newly admitted students, current MIT students, MIT parents, MIT mentors, and local MIT alumni. What a great chance to meet and welcome some exceptional high school students to the MIT community!

Attendance at the reception is free but you need to register on our website so we know how many people are coming. You are also required to register on-site with FIRST in order to access the venue. Allow a little extra time to get to the event. But why not come and enjoy the competitions earlier in the day!  Admission to the World Championships is free.

For more on the competition, check out https://www.firstchampionship.org. For further information about the reception, contact Marilyn Taggi Cisar at [email protected].

Create your own MITCoSTx program - Host an in-person or a virtual meeting with a local flavor. Got a topic you would like to hear about? Is there a topic you would like to share with local alums? Topics can be technical, medical, business, or just something to lighten the mood. The Golf Outing is a great example of an alum-organized event. Contact Sophie Sun, our VP Programs.
